These shoes are KILLER.

I mean literally, they say “killer” right on them.

When I put them on I feel like I can just slay. all. day. yaaaas.

I also like the unusual mix of colours in this outfit – poppy red, purples, turquoise, black, white. I am always drawn to an outfit that mixes colours unconventionally. I love the neutral trend, and I’m always a fan of all-black-everything, but it’s a real power play when you manage to get the colours just right.

While the entire population of Toronto was at Wayhome this weekend, I was drinking alone on my parents’ deck in the backyard. 🙂 We had a BBQ, and if you follow me on instagram, you’ll know that I actually ran after the icecream truck to ask him to come back in an hour, after we finished dinner. I lead an exciting life.

I also started a book that I love, called The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. I thought it would be chick lit, but I think it’s a book anyone can enjoy, and I may write a short review. In the meantime, I have lots of new “lifestyle” posts lined up – including detailed stories from my travels earlier this month. Yippee!

Happy Monday!

Great shoes! Graffiti looks cool in the background.
