Cool Finds Sept 28 2015

1| I’m obsessed with this silhouette! “Long line” shirts, aka tunics that button up, are now my jam. I love the way Anh styled this one, it looks amazing! I need one now!

2 | Happy 1000th post, Smitten Kitchen! Oh, wow. I have been following Smitten Kitchen since…forever! She was probably the first blog I started reading. I’m feeling sentimental. Also, this manhattan recipe looks delicious!

3 | These pictures of fashionistas captured in London are inspiring! I love to see how people dress for colder weather. It can be easy to get into a rut of wearing a sweater and the same, practical jacket over and over. Where’s the fun in that! You can stay warm, and look cool!

4 | “Working with too many men is literally hurting your brain” – ok, good to know! Since I work on a team composed of almost entirely men!

5 | My dad has been giving me great articles to read by The Toronto Star’s Heather Mallick. I especially enjoyed this one: Liberal arts degrees teach synthesis, the skill that lasts.

6 |  I love EVERYTHING about Mindy Kaling. I loved her first book, “Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?”, and I’m so looking forward to reading “Why Not Me?“. YAYY!!!

7 | Just how pink is Apple’s rose gold iPhone 6S? And also, dudes are digging the rose gold too!

8 | Can it be? Does this Burberry lipstick really look good on everyone?

Just finished “Why Not Me” – amazing book. So sad it’s over…what to read now? 🙂

I just finished “Why Not Me” – such a great book I was really sad when it was over. What to read next? 🙂

      Hi!
If you’re looking for something along the same lines, I’d definitely recommend Bossypants by Tina Fey.
Otherwise, try Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel – it’s beautiful, and the author is Canadian!
