I absolutely love wearing pastel colours in colder months. Powder blue, baby pink, lavender – basically an Easter Egg palette, typically reserved for Spring. When these delicate shades are worn against a backdrop of crispy leaves or pristine snow, the overall effect can be magical.
I jump at any chance to wear this polka dot Ted Baker coat, and throwing a beret on made me even happier. I’ve been trying to wear hats more often lately – remember when I said I was going to try and visit all of Toronto’s milliners? I need to put that plan into action!
I paired the coat and beret with a fairly toned down skirt and turtleneck ensemble, but couldn’t resist donning some special shoes. Come on, you’re dealing with a certified shoe-a-holic here! Someone once told me, with an extremely serious expression, that they thought I’d marry a shoe… uhm, thanks?
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! How do you like the mini blog facelift? My photographer and I have been working hard to create some awesome new content, and keep the site looking fresh 🙂 I haven’t even had time to catch up on The Mindy Project!
Have an awesome week ahead! xox
