Say hello to the outfit that officially makes me a “fashion blogger”! Let’s see if it checks off all the criteria:
- Impractical clothing for the weather? Check! I did have my wool coat on for the day – but while taking these pictures I was absolutely freezing!
- Kitschy details? Check! This side-strap bag is shaped like a heart. And it’s not just any heart, it’s a pastel pink heart. Who am I kidding, though? I would wear this all year round 🙂
- Obligatory designer piece? Check! This Marc Jacobs “Lola” perfume ring might not count as high fashion, but I could care less. The ring itself is beautifully unique, and the solid perfume disc inside is actually quite handy!
- And let’s not forget the shoes. These are my “killer” heels. I think they speak for themselves!
I felt very pretty while wearing this outfit…but my REAL ensemble on Valentine’s Day? It will probably be closer to leggings and Azim’s old UBC t-shirt. He’s planning our date this year, and I’ll let you know how it turns out 😉 He’ll have to beat my plans from last year, which included cheeseburgers, trampolines, and a mix CD. Expectations are high!
xoxo
