This dress wants your attention. It is obnoxiously, unapologetically PINK. Fluorescent, highlighter PINK. Not rose, not blush, not even fuschia. PINK!
The first time I wore this dress, a good friend I hadn’t seen in years sent me a message: “Hey, were you just walking down Bloor Street in a pink dress?” Yes, this dress is so magical, it has the power to connect and rekindle relationships.
I also wore it most recently to brunch, shopping, and the jazz fest in Yorkville! I opted to pair it with a more muted, patterned scarf, and simple nude wedges to really let the dress speak for itself.
I love that it’s a shirtdress style (the button-up details and collar are hidden by the scarf in this ensemble) and the pleated skirt is perfectly twirl-worthy.
I added these dead-fish earrings because an outfit is not complete without the ideal details. A few people did ask: …are those…FISH!? 🙂
I rarely get a chance to feature my mom on the blog, but Azim snapped this lovely photo of the two of us and I thought I’d post it. My mom is my best friend and my whole world <3
Thank you so much for reading!!
