I took the Canadian Tuxedo and turned it up a notch.
The fashion of the early aughts is popping up in magazines and blogs (knee high boots, micro sunnies, big hoop earrings), so perhaps I was inspired by this iconic denim duo.

I think denim on denim can look very cool – if I had left the hat off, and went less matchy-matchy with my shoes and accessories, this would be a totally easy outfit to wear. But I like being OTT π

I will forever love denim because it’s the easiest canvas to work off of. Denim looks effortlessly chic when paired with neutral shades. It tones down a loud animal print, and brings a crisp white shirt to life. And denim on denim on denim? I think today’s outfit clearly shows my affinity for it.

Even if you wouldn’t wear them together, I think a solid blue denim jacket and perfectly fitting pair of jeans are great staples in anyone’s closet. And consider a chambray shirt – a real workhorse piece, which is now becoming more and more common in the office (paired under a tailored blazer).

Looking at these photos are making me miss autumn (and Azim), but I’ll be getting into the holiday spirit soon! Thank you so much for reading xox
