Hot Pink
The end of summer is approaching! The CNE is in full swing, labour day weekend is coming up, and store windows are already featuring coats and boots. I'm embracing it, because I'm getting a little tired of outfits like the one in today's post. I'm ready to say goodbye to the simplicity of summer style: a top, a bottom, an easy bag, and that's it.Give me layers!! I want sweaters with shirts underneath and blazers on top. Boots with patterned tights, gloves and hats, and warm cashmere scarves. Leather jackets! Trench coats! Yes, autumn style is the best.But for now, I can make do with the heat. I try to make simple outfits like this one stand out a little more by incorporating fun details. I love the all the little jewels on this bib-top by J.Crew, and these comfy pants are the most perfect shade of hot pink. It would be easy to pair this outfit with flat sandals or shoes, but these metallic blue pumps added a little something extra.Enjoy these last few days of summer! xo
