Bringing you a simple, but fun ensemble en noir today. It's rare that I'll wear black from head to toe, but I think it definitely makes a statement.When I chose this outfit, I was trying to get dressed for a semi-formal drinks event - without having to wear a dress. Sometimes I just don't feel like fussing with a dress and tights, especially if there will be appies served. I love eating appies. Since they can be consumed in one or two bites, they're automatically less calories right? Even if you eat like 10. Even if you eat like 10 bacon-wrapped-fig-jam-mozerella-balls.In any case, appies and tights do not mix well. Appies and comfortable pants on the other hand? A perfect combination. Throw on a feathered vest which will distract from any sort of gluttonous guilt, and you're all set!Because I layered a turtleneck underneath the vest, I opted to keep my hair swept up and added statement earrings for effect.
