Christmastime

The countdown to Christmas is on!We're finally putting our tree up this weekend, and decorating whilst listening to carols and drinking (spiked) egg nog. I say we, but I really mean Azim/my Dad. Lugging a tree home, carrying it into the house, and setting it up is hard work! I do try to help by pouring the nog and keeping the atmosphere festive :) In today's post I'm wearing a more polished and business-appropriate outfit. I find this trouser-cut extremely flattering. Whenever I wear this particular pair of pants, I'm always told that I look taller and slimmer! They're also very comfortable, and easy to care for. Not bad for a purchase from The Gap.They sound like magic, don't they? Well, there's a catch -  they are required to be worn with a slight heel. For all you ladies averse to heels, these pants are not for you. But if you can wear 2-3 inch heels easily, make sure you invest in a trouser-cut.I kept the silhouette and overall look simple by adding a chic jacket in a contrasting colour. By pairing it with a ladylike purse, this outfit works well for daytime or the office.
