Leather Jacket + Football

Hey friends! Hope you're all having a great weekend. In today's OOTD post I'm sporting more of a typical autumn look since winter doesn't seem to be coming...The Black Leather JacketThe black leather jacket became the symbol of the outlaw when it was used as protective outerwear for motorcycle enthusiasts. Rock stars and punks later caught on to this bad boy image. They've been around in the fashion world for quite some time too - since the 1950s and even before that, during the first World War. Over time, it has taken on multiple roles of identification making its wearer a survivor, hero, anarchist, and sex symbol. The story of the black leather jacket in the twentieth century spans seven decades and stretches geographically around the world. Today's look was inspired by some of my favourite people: J. Cole and David BeckhamI had to throw in some holiday-influenced attire with this colourful red and green tie. I think the black jacket and white shirt really completes the look. Funny enough, Jocelyn got me this tie last year for Christmas. All I'm missing now is a bike, so I can look like this.Like I said, Toronto's fall weather is making a late run and I decided to go sock-less - well, I'm wearing a pair of no show socks, but you can't see them ;)Thinking of wearing loafers? I've got two simple rules:

1. Keep your hems close: the circumference of your pants should be no more than 15" and you may also want to shorten your pants; I usually wear a 32 length - I'm wearing a 30 here. Got nice ankles? Show them off!
2. Go sock-less, but not actually: make sure you've got a pair of no-show socks in between your foot and your shoe. I don't think I need to explain why - It's a matter of comfort for you and those around you. I'll leave it at that :)

For those of you who know me, you know that I love playing this game! However, this last week, I've been a bit gutted with my team's performances - early exit out of CL and a weak loss yesterday to Bournemouth :(What did you guys think of the photoshoot idea, playing some footy? In Football (soccer), this ^ is a handball though...A big shout out to my older brother. This sweet leather jacket isn't actually mine.
