Chillin' on College

Today's post was shot on College Street, right next to Kensington Market - a part of Toronto that I love. The outfit isn't what you would typically see in this neighbourhood, which is known for its hipster vibe.IMG_1919-3I decided to swap out the usual dark-wash, slim fit jeans with a light, straight-cut pair just to change things around. There are so many different ways to dress up a pair of jeans, and it's one of my favourite looks for us guys.IMG_1966-11IMG_1939-7IMG_1977-13The Shoes: I really like desert boots. I do. I like them a lot. I can wear them with jeans, or when I'm going business-casual, and I've even been gutsy enough to wear them with a suit for a less formal vibe. In the summertime you may even see me wearing them with shorts!IMG_1918-2IMG_1958-10The Blazer: J.Crew's Ludlow blazers are a staple for any man's wardrobe! I got this in a size 39R and it fits perfectly. What's more impressive is that most brands rarely make odd-numbered sizes, so you're often finding yourself at the tailor getting an oversized coat tapered at the waist. The shirt: All of you male, fashion enthusiasts have heard of Thomas Mason but for those of you that haven't, they basically make some of the sweetest dress shirts out there. For the last few years, they've been doing a collaborative effort with J.Crew and I was lucky to get my hands on one. They can be a bit pricey so be sure to look out for them when they go on sale! Your wardrobe will thank you.The tie: I picked up this silk-knit tie from Le Chateau while I was studying at UBC, in Vancouver. What I want to know is: are all of these knit ties a fad, or are they here to stay? I think they look great on everyone, and I find myself shopping around for them whenever I'm out.IMG_1973-12IMG_1954-9Until next time,-AzimBlazer - J.Crew / Shirt - J.Crew x Thomas Mason / Tie - Le Chateau / Scarf - GAP / Jeans - Joe Fresh / Shoes - Clarks Original
