Cool Finds/Links I Love

Links I Love Feb Woohoo! The best part about a long weekend is the short work week :) I spent the weekend mostly indoors, binging on old movies and eating lots of Valentine's Day treats. I also spent lots of time perusing the internets to come up with this roundup for you:

Loved this community post on Cup of Jo, where readers chimed in with their "First Dance" song from their weddings. I loved the variety, and the stories behind each person's song choice. So sweet! It's also great inspiration for creating a love-themed playlist or mix CD (remember those?!) :)
I really want to invest in a Fitbit (maybe the new Alta?), but I'm worried I'll become obsessed with it - in an unhealthy way. This article/"intervention" struck a chord!
NYFW has been showcasing all the Fall '16 looks, and of course I love the Banana Republic collection! The accessories are killer, and I like the "French Girl" vibe going on. I'm still surprised that Marissa Webb stepped down as creative director (to take on the role of "creative advisor") because she's the best thing to have ever happened to that brand. I suppose her influence lives on!
Azim and I can both admit that we kind of suck at Instagram. The stylized photos, and over-edited look are not easy for us to achieve. But the overall effect is beautiful! That's why this "How-to" video by Alix is so helpful for us!! Alix records her step-by-step process to getting that perfect 'gram. It's a lot more work than you'd imagine!
I didn't get a chance to try the Molten Chocolate Lava Latte that Starbucks put out for Valentine's Day, but these new latte flavours look...kind of delicious! I'm a big green tea latte fan, so this new spin on it might be right up my alley.
Ok, by this point I think we've all seen these Tasty videos pop up in our Facebook newsfeed. Even my MOM is obsessed! She tried out a Mozzarella-Stuffed Slow Cooker Meatballs recipe after watching one of their hypnotic 60-second videos. And that's the kicker, isn't it? The short, visually appealing videos make even the most complicated recipes look easy!
Swimsuit season is just around the corner! Sometimes I love looking back on old "Life" archives just to look at retro swimsuits. I am not a huge fan of triangle bikinis, and have been leaning more and more towards one pieces over the last few years. Am I an old soul, or just getting old?
I was daydreaming about my next vacation when I came across this cool website! You input your budget and travel dates, and it pops out all the possible trips you could take within those parameters. So basically for Spring Break I can head down to Las Vegas, Chicago, or La Paz? Cool :)
Have a great (short) week! xoxo
