Pink Mules

We've been experiencing the first truly warm days of the season, and this wonderful occurrence means that I can once again wear ripped denim and shoes without socks. I can even wear both! And that's exactly what I did with this all-new outfit.I say all new because most of the items are recent purchases. I picked up the shirt when I was doing a workwear wardrobe refresh. The pleats and jewelled collar were too beautiful to pass up! I also like that it's sleeveless because it's easy to layer under blazers, but easy enough to strip down for those summery sunshiney walks at lunch :)The denim was a pleasant surprise for me - I bought them online from Zara, solely because I love the embroidery detail on the back of the ankle. It's such a unique and understated spot to have embellishment! I usually dislike denim from Zara, but this pair has been exceptionally comfortable and they feel like good quality jeans. You would have seen these incredible pink mules from my Spring Wishlist post - when they came back in stock I scooped them up right away. They are my first pair of flat mules, and I think they're awesome. It feels like I'm wearing slippers! The electric hue and jazzy lightning bolt are so obnoxious. I could live in them.I wore this outfit uptown to pick up some delicious mini-egg cookie sandwiches from Short and Sweet Bakeshop. Azim and I shared one, and I managed to eat a "diamonds and pearls" cupcake too :) This spot has been making the rounds on Instagram because of their catchy neon sign...but it definitely lived up to the hype! The cookies were so good!I hope you had a wonderful long weekend! Azim has a busy few weeks ahead, but we'll try to post more outfits soon xoxoTop - Banana RepublicDenim - ZaraMules - MangoBag - Banana RepublicEarrings - J.CrewBangle - Kate Spade
