Shoe Love I

A question I get asked all the time is: "How many pairs of shoes do you own?!" This question is sometimes posed with an incredulous tone, but always with genuine curiosity.  ;) I'll never tell - even I don't know the exact number - but I thought I'd start a series on my blog where I can feature all my favourite pairs, and give you a little peek into my wardrobe! The first pair that I'm featuring are so, so special to me because they were a gift from Azim. He picked them out himself and gave them to me last Christmas - even though I already knew he was my soul mate, it was in that moment that I knew he was my sole-mate (the cheesey-ness is real, people). He had a good starting point, knowing that Sophia Webster is one of my favourite shoe designers. Her products are creative, unique, and extremely easy to wear! I have six pairs of her shoes, and every pair is perfect. This pair in particular showcases her signature "wings" design.I love the combination of the bright orange and purple with the black - especially the orange ankle strap with the black foot-part of the shoe (foot-part is a technical term). The heel is deceivingly low, which makes these shoes comfortable enough for an 8-hour workday, and drinks cinq à sept.If these shoes were a woman she'd be 6 feet tall and from Tokyo. She'd have ombré hair, and she'd wear Poison by Dior. She'd know all the words to every Blondie and Bowie song, and she'd sing them loudly in the shower or while driving, but never at karaoke. She doesn't do karaoke. She goes to gastro pubs instead, and tells the bartender to "surprise her". Her boyfriend calls her Angel. Here's a couple photos of me wearing them last year:Sophia Webster ChiaraSophia Webster ChiaraForgive the quality of the photos in this post, I didn't have Azim's help and had to try my hand at photography! Thanks for reading :) xo
