Dear Santa - Winter Wishlist
While putting together my Gift Guide for Besties (coming soon!), it became particularly easy to put together my own wishlist :) here's what I'll be asking Santa for (or treating myself to ;) )!Gratitude Glass Jar - I saw this on Oprah's Favorite Things 2017, and LOVED the idea! The beautiful jar comes with 365 cards that can be filled out and left by your family members, roommates, bae, or various houseguests, and then opened at a later date. I personally love writing down what I'm thankful for (I have found my gratitude journal to be both helpful and inspiring). Reading what others are feeling thankful for at that point in their lives would be even better.I have a few notes I could get the jar started with:"I am thankful for my mom's brown butter mashed potatoes!""I am thankful for the ability to walk home from work, and the impact it has made on the quality of life I experience.""I am thankful for my female friendships, I am surrounded my beautiful, powerful, amazing women!"Kate Spade Going Places Silk Scarf - Everything about this scarf speaks to me. The colour scheme includes my favorite shades: navy, pink, and gold! The map features Europe, my number one place to hop on a flight to. And it's a lovely square of silk, easy to tie a hundred different ways.SHE: muses, visionaries and madcap heroines - This latest book from Kate Spade features some gorgeous women and role models. I've collected all of the Kate Spade books so far, so I think it's only natural to add this to the bunch :)Diptyque BAIES Candle - Ok, this candle is a totally nuts price...but it smells like heaven itself! Boxing day sales, please be kind!Instax Mini Film - Because I'm all out :(Drake lyrics mug - So I'm not the biggest Drake fan, but Best I Ever Had is one of my anthems for sure! How awesome is this mug?? This and this are other cute options.BABE necklace - Just because it's cute, and a frequently used term of endearment that I share with Azim :)Kate Spade Swan Umbrella - This umbrella is so Mary Poppins, it makes my heart sing!Gold Jewellery from Banana Republic - So you may have noticed that I'm having a gold moment. Banana Republic is really stepping up their trendy jewellery game, and I think all of these pieces are awesome!! Disc Earrings, Hoop Earrings, Chain Earrings, Disc Ring Set, Chain Pavé Bracelet.Adidas INIKI sneakers - Truth be told, Azim has these shoes...and I'm kind of his copycat when it comes to sneakers! He pretends to be annoyed, but I think he should be flattered ;)Sloane Heavenly Cream tea - This is the best black tea ever! Just read the description: A divine tea, full of creamy richness and velvety smoothness- heavenly in every way. A beautiful long leaf Ceylon is blended with balanced notes of bergamot and creamy vanilla. Gold Fossil Watch - I think I may have mentioned before, but my cousin is a flight attendant, which I think is super glamorous! I also think she looks very chic in her uniform - although it is quite strict. She is required to wear a watch, but the watch face can only be a certain size, and the band can only be a black leather strap or gold or silver metal. She has an awesome watch collection, and inspired me to add a classic and understated piece to my collection.Aritzia Mika Sweater - I already have this sweater in the "Heather Amie" shade, and I have to stop myself from putting it on every. single. day. It is extremely cozy, and flattering at the same time - a combination that does not happen very often! I know I'll get a lot of use out of these, so I'd snap one up in every colour if I could :)What's on your wish list this year? I would love to know :) xox
