Polished Slouch
What do you wear to a nice restaurant, when you know you’re going to stuff your face, but you want to appear put together? Slouchy pants.Don’t even look at that bandage skirt, because by your second glass of wine, it will be letting you down. You wear slouchy pants, which will carry you all the way through dessert, and maybe back to your place (unless Game of Thrones is on).I’m so used to my jeggings skinny jeans, and I wear tailored pants almost every day at work, so it’s nice to try a silhouette like this in the evenings or on weekends. I think the trick to avoid looking like you’re wearing pyjamas, is to coordinate it with some streamlined details. In this case I chose a silk blazer, pointy toe flats, and a structured handbag.Adding some jewelry and a little lip colour also brings it together. Nobody has to know that I chose this outfit especially so that I could eat more :)Blazer – Babaton / T-Shirt – J.Crew Factory / Slouchy Pants – Joe Fresh (similar)/ Shoes – Forever21 / Handbag – Coach (similar) / Necklace – Banana Republic (similar) / Lippie – Clinique Chubby Stick in “Two Ton Tomato”
