Feather Lady
I couldn't decide if I wanted to title today's post "Feather Lady" or "My Boyfriend is my Photographer". I went with "Feather Lady", but I think I'll address both topics anyway. This navy top is beautiful, but it is NOT easy to wear. I was sold on it because of the subtle layer of feathers around the hem - which have caused me nothing but grief. They shed. EVERYWHERE! I wore this top to work once, and will never do so again, because everywhere I went I left a trail of feathers behind me. We have carpeted floors in the office, so the feathers stuck to the carpet and were there all day. And because the trail led back to my desk, I really couldn't pretend like it wasn't me, haha.So this top will only come out to play when I know that I'll be in an outdoor setting for the majority of the day.I've been asked a lot lately who takes my photos, and I'm so lucky and eternally grateful to my boyfriend for being my photographer. We can both admit though, that we have no idea what we're doing. I think that was most evident when I was looking through this set of pictures to post - they were ALL in different levels of lighting, whether it was hard sun casting shadows on my face, or the shade which hid all my outfit details. Most of them were crooked, and I don't edit these in photoshop. We're both learning, and he is a superstar for putting in the time and effort to help me :)I hope you all have a wonderful weekend <3 I'll be spending a lot of it writing some upcoming travel posts!
Look at that awkward hair flip! Aww yeah!
