Winter Wear

Why did I think it would be a good idea to do an outfit post in the middle of a deep freeze? For one thing, I wanted to show off my new hat in all its glory. For another, I wanted to give you a glimpse of what I really wear when it's colder than a brass toilet seat on the shady side of an iceberg.I tend to get miserable when I have to wear my parka everyday for weeks and weeks (if you tuned in to last winter's posts, you know I love coats), so the best way to liven things up is to add fun accessories! This hat speaks for itself...and so do these mittens! Literally!On grey days I usually wear lots of colours, but I went for a monochrome look this day and kept it interesting by incorporating different textures. The leather leggings, suede booties, and fur pompom all stand out nicely from each other.I'm going to hold out hope that Wiarton Willie's prediction comes true, and we get an early spring. Until then, my hat and mitts will be on rotation!Thanks for reading! xox
