The Canada Day and 4th of July celebrations were awesome this year! My neighbourhood always has a block party, where everyone wears red and white. And I saw plenty of instagram and snapchat stories filled with fireworks, and patriotic pride. I think this weekend put everyone into an official summery mood, if they hadn't reached that point already.My little brother was coerced into taking these outfit pics for me, which is why there are so few of them! We were on our way out for dinner at the beaches, and the boy was hungry. I should know better than to stand between him and a shepherd's pie :) He was sweet enough to help me, just as all of my readers (i.e. my mom. Hi mommy!) have been sweet and supportive. It's nice, as a new blogger, to know I'm not totally messing this up!My favourite part of this outfit is probably the lipstick I wore, or the super cool sunglasses! I think these are the type of sunnies that can change an entire outfit. Without them, I'm just wearing a jersey skirt, and oddly matched shoes.
