Gift Guide 2016 - For Your Besties

gift guideStarting off the holiday season with another round of gift guides! First one - for all the ladies in your life :) I picked gifts that your bestie might LOVE to have, but would not necessarily buy for herself. They fall under the "I want" category and definitely not "I need" - because aren't those the best kind of gifts to receive? From the top:

Super Soft Cozy Robe

My favourite part of staying at hotels is putting the bathrobe on and getting cozy. Bring the feeling home - or right to your bestie's home - and pick one of these robes up while they're still on sale for 50% off!

Snow Angel - Luxury Bath Melt

I've recently started using bath bombs from Lush to zhuzh up my baths, and I love how fragrant and relaxing they can be. On a recent trip to Lush I picked up a bath MELT, and you know what? It's a total game changer. They still smell incredible, but they also leave my skin feeling so soft afterwards. This "snow angel" from lush smells like marzipan and is made with cocoa butter. Mmmmmm...

Ruffled Striped Top

Ruffles. Stripes. Need I say more? Size down in this one from J.Crew.

Pink Wool Scarf

I have a couple of pink scarves in my wardrobe, but somehow I can never get enough. Every shade is different enough that they can change an outfit completely. This wool version from Banana Republic is great because it's a light-weight, but it really does provide warmth. Perfect for layering, or throwing on at the office.

Awesome Phone Case

I think this phone case is ADORABLE!! The flamingos look so content, and I love that the pink glitter floats around in the case. Is that the 5-year-old in me coming out? That's ok, I think a little childhood joy is allowed in Christmas presents :)

Rose Gold Cocktail Shaker and Chambord

Cocktail accessories are the perfect gift for your bestie who has just moved out, or who is looking to furnish her home. And what goes perfectly with cocktail accessories? Special liqueurs, of course! Champagne is always a good option as well, but I think liqueurs are a little more unexpected. You could even include a handwritten recipe for your favourite cocktail :) Treat your GF to delicious Chambord, or perhaps an elderflower liqueur?

Hair tie Bracelet

Isn't this a brilliant idea? Instead of keeping hair ties stacked on your wrist, loop them around this gorgeous bracelet! I wish I had invented this myself :) The rose gold, gold, and silver options will match any wardrobe, and it's something most of your girlfriends with long hairdos will appreciate.

Perfume

This one is tricky. I know some women who hate receiving perfume as gifts, because they are so particular about what they want - but in their case, you could always stock them up with their "signature scent" to save them the hassle of buying more. For your more adventurous friends, why not buy them something new that they might love? I recently received a sample of this new YSL perfume, and fell in love. The bottle is also gorgeous!

Earrings/Ear Jacket

Yes, these are listed as "ear jackets" on the website, probably because the gorgeous celestial star drops actually hang down from the BACK of the earring. Click through to see a photo of them on the model - they are so unique. Definitely a great gift for the trendsetter in your life! Stay tuned for more gift guides :) And as always, thanks for reading xoxo
