Mix and Match
You might not believe me when I tell you this, but most of the time I don't put a lot of thought into what I wear. There are a few pieces I know I'll be comfortable in, so I naturally gravitate towards them when I need to get ready in a pinch. On the weekends it's usually outfits like this: high-waisted skinny jeans, a fun silk blouse, and crazy shoes. I only have a few pairs of jeans that I really love, so most of the time I'm swapping out the silk blouses and shoes.I hesitated to even post this outfit, because it's not really fashion blogger-y. I actually bought the blouse because I thought the print was so ugly that it had come full circle and became kind of awesome. In my opinion that is :) It's kind of like 80's-fashion-pirate-chic. Yup, that's how I would describe it!It actually looks quite smart if worn with a black pencil skirt and blazer, but tucking it into olive coloured jeans was way more comfortable for running errands on a Saturday. Do they "go together"? Probably not...but once you add a pair of Valentino Rockstuds, anything goes. These are my dream shoes. I treated myself a few months ago, and I am so glad I did. The basic colour of these shoes guarantees they'll work with a multitude of outfits, and the strappy gold studs will never get boring. Is it weird that I forget I have dimples? They usually only pop up when I talk or laugh. Here's a blurry action shot :)xoxShoes - Valentino / Blouse - Patterson J Kinciad / Jeans - Gap / Bag - Banana Republic
