Autumnal

I know, I KNOW - I can't stop going on about Autumn, and how it's my favourite season, and how much I love the changing leaves, and apple picking, and pumpkin spice EVERYTHING! Have you even seen my Instagram or twitter?? I know. But I'm not going to apologize for it.In Toronto we tend to have two types of weather - Winter and July. We must not take the beautiful crunchy leaves for granted! Which is why I bring you today's outfit: I started with a wool blazer - actually a boy's blazer! I like the size and boxy fit because it allows me to layer thick sweaters underneath, like this striped cashmere number. It's very preppy and reminds me of my student days. I added a pendant-watch-locket-necklace-thingy (technical term, of course) because I thought the gold stood out nicely, and it also reminded me of something I'd read about in a fairytale. "Once upon a time, a blogger stumbled upon a pendant-watch-locket-necklace-thingy, and all her dreams came true..."  And how cool are these SHOES? They're actually my lovely friend's - who has exceptional taste. I think the unusual oxford shape completes this autumnal outfit. Have I convinced you to hold on to Autumn a little longer?
